Summer Season Update #1

Hello everyone, and welcome to the first of many updates for this Summer Season.

🌐 Website Revamp

Many of you have probably already noticed that we’ve completely revamped the website. We’ve also added a roadmap where you can see what we have planned.

🎟️ Battle Pass

The first major feature is our new Battle Pass.
This is a passive progression system that rewards you simply for playing the game. You’ll automatically gain Battle Pass experience by skilling, PvMing, voting, and completing certain activities, allowing you to unlock rewards as you progress. Speak to Tootel at home to view the Battle Pass.
Every player has access to the free track, while the Premium Battle Pass offers significantly more rewards, including over $200 worth of in-game items for only $20.
*Note: premium is only available for purchase through the website, but the unlock item is tradable so you can gift to others.

  🌳 Twiglet

  We’ve also added a brand new custom pet. Twiglet provides a permanent 5% drop rate bonus while equipped.
  It also introduces a new team mechanic:

• +2% drop rate for each nearby player who also has a Twiglet.
• Up to a maximum 13% drop rate bonus.
  This makes Twiglet the strongest pet in the game for group PvM and team activities.

  🌊 Maelstrom Pool Event

  A new world event has arrived: the Maelstrom Pool.
  A maelstrom pool will periodically form at the fishing platform. During the event, players can throw nets into the pool to earn Fishing XP and raw food rewards. Be careful, though. Sea trolls may appear during the event, and players who help defeat them can earn additional food rewards.

Event Details

• The event lasts for 5 minutes.
• The event appears roughly every 2.5 hours.
• The server journal now tracks when the Maelstrom Pool is active or when the next one is coming.
• You can teleport there with ::maelstrom, ::maelstrompool, or ::mp.

  :macos: iOS Support (Web App)

  We finally have iOS support! It’s available here.

  1. Open Safari and go to the website you want to save.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an upward-pointing arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down the menu and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Customize the name of the shortcut, then tap Add in the top right corner.
     You can play in-browser, but adding as a web app will give you a fullscreen immersive experience, we highly recommend it.

     ✨ Small Updates

• Added support for reclaiming unlocked Summer Max Capes through Mac.
• Added new Sacrifice unlocks:
• Chef’s Delight: all consumable food heals an additional +1.
• Blood Brothers: Blood Fury has a chance to double the amount healed.

  🛠️ Bug Fixes

• Fixed bank withdraw-as-note behavior.
• Corrected Sarachnis cudgel’s melee strength bonus.
• Fixed Infernal axe behavior when burning logs, using charges, and awarding related skilling effects.
• Corrected several Prifddinas and Iorwerth Dungeon NPC spawns.
• Improved Brutus charge timing, movement, and special attack behavior.
• Fixed several mobile web client startup, keyboard, and long-press issues.

  🔶 Skill Tree

  The Skill Tree (Tree of Ascendency) is going through an insane overhaul and we’re going to drop an interactive web planner here.
